Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK):
- Students born between September 2, 2019 and September 1, 2020
- San Diego Unified resident students
Note: Students must be 4 years old by September 1, 2024 to be eligible for UTK.
We are currently at capacity for our UTK classes.

Office will re-open on July 31, 2024
*Current Miramar Ranch students in TK - 4th grade are automatically registered for the 2024-25 school year.
Only new students UTK - 5th grade need to register.
Who is eligible to attend Miramar Ranch Elementary?

Oral Health Assessment Form - Completed by dentist or dental office personnel
Report of Medical Examination for School Entry Form - Completed by doctor or health professional.
Required Documents for ALL new students
1. Proof of residence - SDUSD accepts the following - utility bill, rental/lease agreement, mortgage bill, military housing papers. Documents must be current and have one parent/guardian name listed.
2. Birth Certificate or Passport
3. Vaccination records with all immunizations current.
